The study aims to reduce or eliminate unwanted vibrations by performing active control of passive suspension systems using the recommended methods.
We establishes the dynamic model of the vehicle, and use the linear quadratic optimal control theory to design the lqg controller of the active suspension, and use matlab/simulink to simulate the vehicle dynamic model. This study considers the passenger comfort problem in modern sedan vehicles and presents a novel lqr framework that treats the induced vibration attenuation of the chassis frame, under the assumption of uncertain vehicle dynamics. This study applied the lqr controller to enhance the active suspension system in passenger vehicles, aiming to improve vertical vibration performance
